DRAIN CLOGS

CLOG INSTRUCTIONS:

There are many types of issues that cause your toilets, sinks, tub and shower drains to clog. The most common issues are food, grease, paper towels, wipes, too much toilet paper, toys and hair.

Most of the time clogs can be simply cleared by you. We suggest investing in a drain clog remover tool or a plunger. They can be purchased at most home improvement or retail stores or on Amazon.

If you have attempted to clear the clog and you still are not able to get it to drain correctly please submit a maintenance request and let us know what steps you took to attempt to clear the clog.

Below are helpful hints that may assist you in clearing your drains.

Toilet Clogs

If the clog is in your toilet we ask that you please remove any excess toilet paper and use a plunger to clear the clog. Wipes and feminine hygiene products are never to be flushed down a toilet. Watch this video for instructions on using a plunger.

If the clog is not on the disposal side of the sink please use a plunger to clear the drain at this link

Bathroom: If the clog is in the bath room sink, it is usually caused by hair that is accumulating in the drain. Please attempt to clear the clog using the drain clog tool, watch this Video for instructions.
